What we do

Understanding what happens, and making it known

You have been at this for months, sometimes years.

What remains is to establish what your programme actually produces, for whom, and at what cost to the people concerned. Then to do something with it: decide internally, or carry weight externally. The two call for distinct skills, and it is rare to find a team that brings the same rigour to both.

It happens to be our original trade. The practice was built on advocacy before it refocused on climate and rights: we know what a finding needs in order to change a decision.

What we do

Evaluations of programmes, partnership approaches and funding mechanisms. Applied research and studies. Position papers and policy briefs. Evidence-based advocacy support: building the argument, identifying the moments and the interlocutors, preparing the organisations that carry the message. Coalition support. Training.

One point that matters: independent evaluation and advocacy do not mix within a single engagement. We do both, never for the same programme at the same time.

What we bring

A doctorate completed at the end of 2026 at the Geneva Graduate Institute, on this same intersection. A strategic evaluation for Forest Peoples Programme in the DRC that became a five-year programme. Work for Rainforest Foundation Norway on Itombwe, Réseau CREF, 350.org, WeMove, OIF, GIZ, Humanity & Inclusion and Caritas. A current study for SPIA/CGIAR. Expertise in conflict analysis and in the evaluation of protection and peacebuilding programmes.

We sit on the scientific committee of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and on IUCN's Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy.
